The following pages will detail my AK Cobra Build, which was my own second build although I’ve been involved in helping many people with their own builds. It is set out in various pages as noted below but please beware that although I can remember a lot of what went on I am missing a lot of the pictures that go with the text , so please bear with me and if/when I come across more pictures I’ll update as and when they come available.

My AK has a modified chassis and body which was designed and built at the AK factory especially to give me some more room. I specified it in black gel coal with stainless steel engine bay cladding and holes cut for a single width roll bar behind the driver. I will be making a flat bottomed dash with black faced ETB instruments and covered in black leather. The seats and carpet will also be black. The engine will be a stroked Chevrolet small block of 383 C.I. This will be a fuel injected engine and I’ll be using four twin Jenvey throttle bodies and Megasquirt ecu. The gearbox is Getrag with an adapter plate. The suspension is Jaguar XJ6 based and my 3.31 diff has been fully reconditioned by Russel Ram.
